On This Day In Music History: April 17th

On this day, April 17th, in 1970 well known musician Johnny Cash performed at the White House for then President Richard M. Nixon. Asked to perform Merle Haggard song  "Okie From Muskogee", Cash decline because it was not his own song. He insted perfromed his number one hit, "A Boy Named Sue".
