Emerging from what seemed to be a permanent hiatus, Oh, Manhattan returns with some new members, new material, and one hell of a story to tell. The hiatus began when key members, including Hance Alligood joining Woe, Is Me, left the band, but original vocalist and lyricist Donny Thomas has now officially rejoined. Donny is teaming up once again with guitarist Cody Gray, the two main writers of Spiritual Warfare, and the duo will be joined by returning guitarist Chris Branton as the only remaining members of Oh, Manhattan.
Joining them will be new members Will Turner (vocalist; ex-Some Mistakes), Tom Lovejoy (bassist; ex-Some Mistakes, ex-Latin For Truth) and Josh Landry (drummer).
The six-piece from Atlanta is currently in the lab with a pen and a pad already cranking out a new release which is to drop early this summer. The EP is titled A Generation in Peril and promises to be a powerful, lyrically driven record. The band is currently a free agent coming off of the release of Spiritual Warfare with Indianola Records, but time will tell where they will end up.
Oh, Manhattan will be returning to the national scene at this years South By So What Festival in Grand Prairie, Texas on March 16th and be sure to watch out for more regional dates leading up to the release of the new EP!
Woe, Is Me will headline the “Talk Your [S]#?! We’ll Give You A Reason Tour” later this year. Support will come from Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Our Last Night, Secrets, Capture The Crown and The Seeking with dates to run as follows:

Tyler Carter recently discussed rumors of starting a new band with ex-Woe, Is Me members.
It’s in the thought process and works. It’s something I may or may not work on when I’m home. Ever since they all left the band, we’ve gotten close again. We’ve started to see eye to eye on the whole reason behind everything that happened. We’re a lot closer now. It just may be something that we do. I know I said before that I wasn’t into other projects, but I was a little bit torn from my experiences. It’s a personal thing for me to want to be a solo artists. It’s where my heart is for now.

It doesn’t come with any ease to announce, but the three of us have left Woe, is me.
Our differences were just too vast on so many levels: Musical, personal/moral, and professional/business.
It came to a point where we could either continue on the path they saw fit, or we could create our own path and find happiness in our own ways.We have nothing but gratitude for all of the fans. Every handshake, high-five, hug, pat on the back, and kind word from you guys and gals means the absolute world to us.
When one door closes, another opens: and we can’t wait to see what’s on the other side of this new door.
