The NEWFORM Label is proud to present ‘Prey for Us’ the new digital EP from WASTER. It will be available for FREE download on December 11, 2012 at www.thenewformlabel.com. WASTER is hitting the studio in February to record the follow up to their debut full length ‘Thunder Pit’, in the meantime they wanted to put something out for their loyal fans. Prey for Us is 2 brand new songs recorded this summer during writing sessions for their upcoming album.
The 2 songs are dense thrashy bangers that show a growth of style, yet a continuation of the band’s previous songs. The Sled Island Festival had the following to say about Waster: “Why waste a riff on anther song? The metal riffage, alternating between propulsive bangers and heavy groovers, is packed so densely into each song that it’s hard to imagine getting enough of a breather from relentless air guitarring and devil horn saluting to even shout one’s approval.”
