For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Creekside?
Ben was in Wolf & Bear a few years ago. Others had been in small local bands but nothing serious.
How long has the band been around?
2 years
What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?
Origin is from previous members, along with creekside being a pretty popular name used in Chico for some business’
Who writes your songs?
We collaboratively write, but usually guitar or lyrics comes first.
What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?
How short life is, the constant struggle of living, and some heartbreak.
What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?
Turnover, Basement, Being as an Ocean, Citizen, Story So Far
Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?
All of us were first inspired by Green Day coincidentally, during the American Idiot time
What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …
Stretching is a must, maybe some beer, get a decent amount of food in
What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?
Opening for Being as an Ocean in Sacramento, CA

Citysick, Turnover, Story So Far, Knocked Loose, Tiny Moving Parts, August Burns Red
