For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to CardiacTheGhost? How long has the band been around?
Cardiac is still on multiple artist collectives such as After Deth Production, Two Lost Souls and Doggy Style Records.Miguel has performed and toured with countless bands
What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?
It should be Cardiac and the Ghost, I’m Cardiac and Ghost is my biffl (best imaginary friend for life). Also Cardiac formally went by MC-JLEE back in the day.
Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?
I write all my songs and the topics are always constantly changing but I genreally write about how I feel that particular day at that exact time. Yes my topics will change over time as I experience more in life.
What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?
The XX.
Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?
Ian Kevin Curtis inspires me so much bc we both dance around stage like we having seizures.
What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …
b4 shows I love to smoke, mediate and pray.
What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?
Performing with my little brother Mal was lit, just knowing that we came from nothing and now we rocking these shows together is lit. It’s like a dream
If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?
The Doors, because *tada* I’m Jim Morrison you thought this was a CardiacTheGhost interview huhh? Nope, wrong.
