This Day In Music History: October 29th

On this day, October 29th, in 1971 co-founding member of the Allman Brother Band, Duane Allman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Georgia. While the accident did not initially kill him, he would succumb to his injuries at the hospital hours later. Allman would be laid to rest days later on November 1st in Macon, Georgia. The ‘Allman Brother Band’ would continue the band and strive to continue Duane’s legacy. Listen to some of his work below.
