This Day In Music History: October 28th

On this day, October 28th, in 1991 American metal band Metallica released their single ‘The Unforgiven’ via Elektra Records. Coming off their fifth studio album ( known as ‘The Black Album’) this track is the b-side to ‘Killing Time’ and ‘So What?’, as well as’ The Unforgiven’ demo. The song would peak at number 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100 and would go on to sire two sequel tracks. Listen to the track below!
