This Day In Music History: December 2nd

On this day, December 2nd, in 2000 alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins played what was at the time their last set at The Metro in Chicago, IL. The Metro holds significance to the band because the band's career kicked off in at the same club in 1988. The set itself was 35 songs and would span over a period of four and a half hours. The band would later get back together in 2005.
