Commonly in major cities signs are placed for pedestrians to walk across segments of roads safely. Those signs are for pedestrians as much as they are for drivers, but do drives pay attention? No. As someone who walks a lot around my city I've discovered how little drivers seem to care. Please guys, be alert. No driver wants to hit someone walking and no one walking wants to get hit.
