Aaron Marshall, guitarist for Intervals, has posted an update about the release of their new album along wit their decision to not be on a label.
Hey guys, Aaron here. I just wanted to take a second and chat with you guys a little bit about the release of our new record. As some of you may have noticed, the band is not signed with a label. This has been a conscious decision made by us for numerous reasons. The main one being the ability for us to maintain a tangible connection with you guys and continue to do what we've done all along. We truly believe that we have the most honest and genuine fans/supporters/friends that a band could ask for, and this is why we have confided in you guys to be the support we need for the release of our debut record, without a label. The landscape of the modern music industry has changed drastically and your support is what proves that point time and time again. With all of that said, thank you to everyone who has preordered AVW thus far! If you're reading this and you haven't, please consider the power of your support, as it is what directly influences opportunities for us to do things like play for you in your city and continue to put out records. The reason I feel comfortable to level with you guys like this is because there's no point in keeping anything from you. We want you to know where we stand on stuff like this and there's no one to tell me otherwise. Thanks for your continued support guys, we couldn't do this without you.
