Garbage Announces 20 Years Queer Tour

It's hard to believe that it has been 20 years since Garbage released their self-titled LP.  It debuted at number 193 on the Billboard 200 chart before quickly climbing to number 20.  The album was later certified double platinum.  Garbage, was released August 15, 1995 and it included the hits, "Subhuman," "Queer," "Only Happy When It Rains," and "Stupid Girl."  The album will forever be considered iconic by members of GenX for its visionary treatment of feminism and sexuality.

Garbage will be celebrating the album's 20th Anniversary by releasing a deluxe version of the LP and embarking on a tour to support the reissue.  Front woman, Shirley Manson, is looking forward to performing some of the B-side tracks that have never been performed live before.  Garbage's 20 Years Queer Tour runs from October 6th to October 28th, followed by a European leg.  Check out this performance of "Stupid Girl" for old time's sake.
