Dave Lombardo (Ex-Slayer) Announces “Double Kick” Coffee

Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, etc.) has released his own coffee called “Double Kick.” The following information was shared regarding that:

“Dave’s ‘Double Kick’ coffee makes a kick-ass espresso and doubles as a thunderous drip coffee. The coffee comes in am (8oz) signature collectible drum tin designed after one of Dave’s signature toms as played on some of his most legendary songs & performances. This tom is the first in a series of releases which will give fans & drum enthusiasts the opportunity to actually build their own custom coffee kits overtime. It makes for the perfect collectible & gift.

The coffee itself is a specialty-grade Costa Rica handpicked by Dave himself and roasted to his personal specs based on his Cuban-American heritage and upbringing. This dark roast hits hard w/ notes of rich chocolate & brown sugar w/ a dash of citrus zest.”

Lombardo added:

“Coffee’s always been a part of my DNA. I had my first taste as a kid—and I’ve been rattling ever since. For years, I’ve thought about releasing my own brew. The name ‘Lombardo’s Double Kick’ has been in my head since 2015—but I was never going to put my name on something that didn’t hit hard enough.

After two years of working closely with Coterie Coffee Co., Double Kick finally exists—and it rips. Through precision roasting, we developed a bold and smooth-flavored blend, never bitter—power-packed with pure thrash fuel.

The tin design is based on one of my favorite kits, and the font? A direct nod to a logo I slashed out years ago. This isn’t just coffee—it’s a collector’s piece.”
