Usually kept to Southern California, Self Help Fest expanded to three other cities this year, taking the San Bernardino-based music festival across the country. With great anticipation, Midwesterners were met with a warm weather welcome at the Detroit date. Even the anticipation of the rain couldn't quell the fans' excitement to see A Day To Remember, Rise Against, Underøath, and many more incredible bands.
On Friday, Indianapolis Alt-Rock group Graham The Empire hosted a night of solid fun at Radio Radio in celebration of their new EP, Rise. The three-piece act was joined by other Indy locals Pinky and The Basterds and Ohio native, Philia.
A Lot Like Birds headlined at the Emerson Theater in Indianapolis last Sunday. With OWEL's dramatic, alluring opening, Hearts Like Lions' incredibly energized performance, and Household's drawing sound, A Lot Like Birds gave the audience a great ending to the show, pouring their hearts into the performance.













































You never know what you'll find when you enter into a small venue in downtown Indy. But on this night, one found fun, local music, and Glass Mansions on tour. Melody Inn celebrates its punk heritage every night and this night brought an electro twist to the sound.
Indianapolis- It was hot on Sunday, but that did not deter people from standing in line, awaiting the gates to open at the Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park. As fans gathered on the lawn, getting their beers and french fries, and finding a place to stand, only one word can some up the anticipation for the Taste of Chaos' Indianapolis show- Nostalgia.
