Brand New fans rejoice as the long awaited follow up to 2009's Daisy is finally here. Earlier today, posts on Reddit showed fans receiving a CD with an hour long track and a strange manuscript with text from 2001 A Spacetime Oddyssey. The album was later released on their website for purchase. CD's and Vinyl are set to ship in October but you receive a digital download with each purchase. There is still no word on when the record will be released on streaming services.
Brand New fans have been anticipating a new album this year, but unfortunately the band released a statement yesterday informing everyone that they will be pushing the release back, and there will not be a new album in 2016. Why? Find out below!
Kevin Devine will be touring the West Coast this May with Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra. A full list of dates can be found below. Tickets will be available HERE, March 10th at 12 PM PST. Pre-order tickets include a limited edition 12" LP from Bad Books, Devine and Manchester Orchestra's collaborative project. The LP features their 2013 Daytrotter session on 12" vinyl with a screen-printed b-side.

The Brand New/Taking Back Sunday feud has been going on since the early 2000's but Adam Lazzara (TBS vocalist) just can't let it go. Speaking to OC Weekly, he was asked about Jesse Lacey:
When asked about playing a song like "There's No 'I' In Team," which directly references a longstanding feud with the band Brand New (specifically front man/former Taking Back Sunday bassist Jesse Lacey), Lazzara continues to add fuel to the old fire. "I think Jesse Lacey is just a dick," he says. "He just sucks. He's not a good person." Lazzarra goes on "Who am I to say?", he says. "There's somebody out there that's gonna say I'm not a good person. I don't know."
