Boston rock band A Loss For Words has revealed details for their new LP, Before It Caves, which will be released on October 8th via Velocity/Rise Records. Tracklisting for the long-awaited follow up to 2011’s, No Sanctuary, can be seen below.

ALFW will be supporting the record on this fall’s The Lost Boys Tour, along with co-headliner Handguns. The trek, presented by New Noise Magazine and Loud & Obnoxious Clothing, will kick off on October 4 in West Chester, PA and features direct support from New Jersey punks Major League and additional support from City Lights, The Shades, Stickup Kid and Light Years on select dates.

Koji has announced a limited edition 7” single featuring the song “Distance/Divide” from his forthcoming debut full-length on Run For Cover Records.  The B-side is a cover of the song “All My Life” originally by Evan Dando of the Lemonheads.  The 7” is limited to 300 copies and available only from Koji on the Acoustic Basement tour.  It will not be available digitally.  The limited release features a screen printed jacket available in three different color ways. 

The monthlong Acoustic Basement Tour begins today.  In addition to Koji , the tour features Run For Cover label mate Vinnie Caruana as well as Geoff Rickly, A Loss For Words and Brian Marquis.

Rising punk bands Such Gold and A Loss For Words have announced plans to release their upcoming split release out November 22nd on No Sleep Records / Mightier Than Sword after more than a year in the making.

Says Such Gold’s Devon Hubbard (bass): “We’re super stoked to work with A Loss For Words, they’re a band we’ve been friends with now for about 2 years and this is a long time in the making. They’re great dudes, super excited for them and all the stuff they have coming up, and their side of the split is pretty fucking sweet.”

Says Matty from A Loss For Words (singer): “I am super stoked this will be our first 7”. What better way to release it then with some of our best friends SUCH GOLD who I think are one of the most honest and hardworking bands of our generation! Not to mention releasing it on 2 of the coolest Indy labels NO SLEEP & MIGHTIER THAN SWORD RECORDS!”

Such Gold’s side of the release was recorded and mastered by Steve Sopchak at The Square Studio (Syracuse) while A Loss For Words’ was recorded with Mike McMillen at Dark Side Audio and mastered by Paul Leavitt. The vinyl version of the release will be available in black (100), yellow (450), and maroon marble (450) packaged with a limited edition t-shirt.

* Such Gold will be entering the studio this November to record their debut full-length out Spring 2012 on Razor & Tie Records.
A Loss For Words’ new record "No Sanctuary" will be available October 22nd on Velocity/Rise Records.
