MOTÖRHEAD released another brand new track from their upcoming 21st studio album, Aftershock, entitled ‘Queen Of The Damned’. The track is streaming exclusively via Loudwire.com now, and is a fast head-banger full of killer riffage– just what MOTÖRHEAD is known for being best at! Listen here
The band will hit the road again in early 2014 alongside Amon Amarth and Enslaved. Unfortunately for fans in Orlando — where the tour stops on January 27th — Skeletonwitch will not be allowed to perform at the local House of Blues, as the group has joined the likes of Exodus, Machine Head and others who have been deemed “unfit to be associated with” Disney, on whose property the venue is located.
Slipknot to enter the studio in January according to M Shawn Crahan. Read a post from his official FB below
“Went out on the lake today for awhile to try to get some negativity out of the brain. All these birds were flying off the water over my head. So peaceful and beautiful.
The new mask is coming out killer for all those who are getting one. You’ll be getting a lot of goodies.
I’m writing the best music of my life. I can’t wait to put it up on my page just so all of you can see who else I am, but as usual only if you care.
New site will be up soon.
I’m getting really excited for the up coming show in South America and the show in January in Mexico City. Both shows will be insane. I can hardly wait.
Then we’ll get settled in to a studio sometime in January or so and starting cutting out the pain.
I got an artist studio where there will be lots if photo stuff but also a very cool recording studio. I’m going through all my stuff and getting rid of some serious stuff. Check my site to see.
I have to write, record and play live with new art all around us. End of story.
Amen

As Lamb of God winds down the touring cycle for their sixth studio album Resolution, they are pleased to announce the release of a remixed and remastered version of their second album, As the Palaces Burn, on November 11th via Prosthetic/Razor & Tie.
The album remixed by longtime producer Josh Wilbur features three unreleased demos and a 70 minute story behind the album documentary featuring interviews with all five band members, original album producer Devin Townsend, and Josh Wilbur. The CD package features updated artwork by longtime LOG designer Ken Adams and a new booklet essay by rock critic Tom Beajour.

We interviewed Hatebreed guitarist, Frank Novinec at this show. That can be heard here
Battlecross, a heavy metal band from Michigan, were the first band to open the show. Adam Pierce from All Shall Perish was filling in as their live drummer and KILLED it. I asked the vocalist about Kevin Talley (who’s listed as their live drummer on their FB page, but couldn’t get a definite answer) Plenty of guitar solos and windmilling during their set; be sure to catch them with Revocation and Death Angel after the Hatebreed tour!
The always angry Acacia Strain stomped their way on stage, declaring their hatred of all things nice/mankind. Of course, the pit opened up when they started playing. Vincent, the vocalist, was a lot more interactive with the crowd than normal. There wasn’t a barricade but there also wasn’t any stage diving allowed. Opening with Doomblade from their latest record, “Death is The Only Mortal”, Vincent ordered the lights be turned off to give a more omnious appearance. They closed with the fan favorite, JFC while Vincent held the mic above the crowd to scream out “I am the end of the world!”
Shadows Fall kicked ass but I wasn’t too familiar with their newer material. The highlight of the set was Brian Fair windmilling with his long dreads.

After waiting forever, the stage lights dimmed and Hatebreed finally took the stage, opening with Tear It Down and led right into Honor Never Dies (the only new song they played) The pit was crazy; the sound was amazing, and the band was phenomenal. The tour ends in Canada on Sunday so don’t miss out!
Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids) has unveiled “Kinda Go To Pieces” from his new solo effort Wrist Slitter - due out November 11th via Rory Records/Equal Vision Records.Download “Kinda Go To Pieces” for free from RollingStone.com: http://rol.st/1dZQmDz
Pryor explains the story behind the track to Rolling Stone, “It’s a weird roller coaster, this job. When you’re onstage it’s a dizzying high and when you’re in your hotel, thousands of miles away from your family, reading negative tweets it’s the pits…[The song is] a very personal and honest self reflection…”
