Pittsburgh grinders COMPLETE FAILURE debuted the first song off of their forthcoming new record, ‘The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault’. The track, The Unlove Overhue” is streaming now at Lambgoat.com.

Three years in the making, ‘The Art Gospel Of Aggravated Assault' is the band's tour de force, fusing ferocious speed and aggression with their aggressive, iconoclastic stance.

Regarding the song, vocalist Joseph Mack said,

"The Unlove Overhue is about losing something that was so much of an attachment to your life that you really would prefer not to take one more step forward. Its about inhumanity. Death. Suicide. All those things. Specifically the track is about a pet that died a slow death from Leukemia. Going back to the Original albums write up in the press release "its as natural and honest an album as it is human". Well this is that human element. The music industry is over saturated with superheros that live on different planets. We’re transparent and empathetic and value those who live and work like a human and hurt but have nowhere to let it go. This album is kind of that outlet. "The Unlove Overhue" is easily the meanest and most explosive track on the album and features the single greatest riff of all time."

'The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault' is set for a North American release on February 19th. 'The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault' will be available in CD format.

The tracklisting for ‘The Art Gospel Of Aggravated Assault’ is as follows:

Mind Compf
Errant Social Mile Marker
The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault
Head Hanger to Be
Drag Migrator
Exitist
Defenseless Mechanisms of Self Inflicted Heartbreak
Disinvictus
Hero of the Church Herd
The Unlove Overhue

Metallic post-hardcore outfit KEN MODE  have debuted a new song off of ‘Entrench’. The opening track, Counter Culture Complex” is streaming now at Pitchfork.com

Showcasing powerful noise rock influenced by AmRep’s finest (MELVINS, JESUS LIZARD, HELMET), and fortified by an unhealthy dose of modern hardcore intensity (CONVERGE, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, EVERY TIME I DIE), ‘Entrench’ further asserts the band’s stance against a stagnant take on rock, metal, and hardcore.

Regarding the new song, front man Jesse Matthewson said

"What to say about Counter Culture Complex…musically the song’s working title was "Party fun blast", just to give you an idea of where we were coming from during the writing process. We feel, in terms of how the song represents the album as a whole, that it encapsulates the influence that having Andrew LaCour (Khann, new bassist as of 2011) as a contributing writer has had on the band.

There’s definitely a more raw, punk/hardcore element going on with this record, at least in my opinion, and I feel that ‘Counter Culture Complex’ is a perfect example of that energy and attitude. The lyrics themselves deal with growing up and picking your battles; dealing with a basic understanding of the world and the people inhabiting it as you move on from being a teenager/young adult to being old enough that you should know better.”

'Entrench' is set for a North American release on March 19th.  'Entrench' will be available as a CD, with a vinyl edition to follow.

SENSES FAIL will release their fifth full-length studio album entitled RENACER (ray-nah-serr) on March 26, 2013 on Staple Records. Renacer was recorded in Los Angeles, California at both The Airport Studio and Red Bull Studio with producer Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones) at the helm.

“We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in February 2012 and immediately got to work writing Renacer,” commented singer Buddy Nielsen. “The approach to this record was to embrace change and explore a different side of the band. The process was long, but was probably the smoothest out of any other record because we wrote without any boundaries. Renacer is by far our heaviest effort to date, which felt like a natural progression for us.”

“We chose to work with Shaun because of our respect and love of the music he has made in Far and the work he has done over the years as a producer. Shaun was a huge asset in crafting and harnessing the heaviness of the record without sacrificing the clarity and natural sonics that we wanted.”

“The name Renacer means “to be reborn” in Spanish. We chose the name because it reflected the change that we embraced in our personal lives as well as in our musical lives. The name ties together the themes of the record, which touch on change through positivity, balance, spiritual growth and love. We are very proud of the work we have done and are extremely excited to share it with the world.”

Senses Fail recently announced a UK tour scheduled for late spring and will be announcing their US tour plans shortly. Pre-order details for the album will also be announced in the coming weeks.

Senses Fail formed in Ridgewood, New Jersey over 10 years ago and has sold over 1.2 million records worldwide. The band’s most recent studio album, The Fire, was released in 2010. A greatest hits album, Follow Your Bliss: The Best of Senses Fail, was released last year.
