After a slight delay due to Superstorm Sandy, South Jersey’s Coming Clean had to push back their release of Sing Loud from November 6th to this past weekend. The EP was recorded at Silver Bullet Studios, and may be download from http://www.comingclean.bandcamp.com/ (Sites are allowed to embed the stream in the news post), where you may also download their two previous EPs for free.

Guitarist Kyle Carrier commented on the the release by saying, “Sing Loud is the four song counterpart to the March EP entitled Drive Safe.” This connection is further expanded on through the cover art of both EPs, both done by Joshua Minnich. Drive Safe shows the mom waving from the house, with Sing Loud showing the son with a backpack walking towards a car.

Coming Clean is a hardcore-influenced pop-punk band from South Jersey. Bridging the gap between aggression and catchiness, Coming Clean continues to push the boundaries of the clichéd genre they share with their peers. Their debut EP, Trying, was released in August 2011. Only months after that, the band spit out their Drive Safe EP, before touring the east coast in its entirety. Again, only months later, their third EP appropriately named Sing Loud is set for release on November 6th. With immediate plans to tour excessively and begin their first full-length album in early 2013, Coming Clean’s relentless momentum can’t slow down.

On January 14th, Reveille Records will be releasing This is Your Life’s debut full length album, Before We Fade Away on 12 inch vinyl. The pressing will be limited to 500 copies and feature three different color variants. Both the band and label will have exclusive colorways limited out of 100. Pre-orders for the vinyl will go live on December 14th on Reveille Records’ webstore.

TThis is Your Life has been making waves in the hardcore scene since they first cut their teeth on their Self-titled 7” in 2010. Their aptly named follow up, The Tour EP further cemented their status as an up-and-coming act to keep an eye on. When Before We Fade Away was released later that same year, they quickly became buzzworthly among critics, receiving a five star rating from Punknews.org and AbsolutePunk.net announcing it as, “one of the most impressive debuts of the year”.

But the praise wasn’t just pouring in from snobby critics, the fans thought it was just as fantastic. The album has an aggregated score of 3.9 (Excellent) on Sputnik Music and even hit #10 in Punknews‘ “Your Favorite Records from September” feature.

Before We Fade Away has been received so well because it hits that sweet spot right between punk and hardcore. That very same line that bands like Kid Dynamite, Comeback Kid, and Modern Life Is War proudly tread. Energy, emotion, and aggression runs deep on this record. A theme that is only magnified during their live sets. Having played over 100 shows and sharing the stage with such acts as: Tigers Jaw, A Wilhelm Scream, Caleb Lionheart, and Hold Tight! the boys in This is Your Life are well vetted road warriors.

Friday Night Music Club and 123Greetings.com are working together to help people spread some Christmas humor this holiday season. Together, they are releasing a fun loving, pub crawling Christmas song entitled “The Christmas Beer Song”.

The song is available through 123Greetings.com and is completely free for people to send to their Facebook friends and contact lists as a holiday Christmas card/song. Ecards can quickly be scheduled for a future delivery date making it simple for anyone to send a Christmas message now that friends and contacts will receive during the holidays.

You can find the Ecard/song here http://www.123greetings.com/events/christmas/fun/the_christmas_beer_song_happy.html

"We wanted to create a song that embraced the fun of Christmas," said FNMC’s Singer, Scott Clark. "Traditional Christmas songs are great for the family or sleeping aids; however, on behalf of all the grown men in the world, I believe I know what we all want from Santa and that’s a round of beer to share with our friends. Sending this Ecard is the same as sharing a beer. It’ll make your friends and contacts laugh while also letting them know that you’re thinking of them over the holidays”.

Friday Night Music Club consists of four songwriters who trade off on vocals and instruments as they experiment with writing various song styles. Their song Hush has over 50k views on Youtube and they have multiple songs currently playing on internet and FM radio. The band is unsigned and hoping to find management and or build relationships with people in the music industry that can help their music reach new listeners. The Members are Tiffany Childers: Vocals, lyrics / Scott Clark: Vocals, Lyrics, Pianos, Keys / Jonathan Legg:, Guitars, Percussion, Keys; / and John Hodsoll: Bass.

123Greetings is the world’s leading online destination for human expressions reaching over 91 million unique users annually.
