After a slight delay due to Superstorm Sandy, South Jersey’s Coming Clean had to push back their release of Sing Loud from November 6th to this past weekend. The EP was recorded at Silver Bullet Studios, and may be download from http://www.comingclean.bandcamp.com/ (Sites are allowed to embed the stream in the news post), where you may also download their two previous EPs for free.

Guitarist Kyle Carrier commented on the the release by saying, “Sing Loud is the four song counterpart to the March EP entitled Drive Safe.” This connection is further expanded on through the cover art of both EPs, both done by Joshua Minnich. Drive Safe shows the mom waving from the house, with Sing Loud showing the son with a backpack walking towards a car.

Coming Clean is a hardcore-influenced pop-punk band from South Jersey. Bridging the gap between aggression and catchiness, Coming Clean continues to push the boundaries of the clichéd genre they share with their peers. Their debut EP, Trying, was released in August 2011. Only months after that, the band spit out their Drive Safe EP, before touring the east coast in its entirety. Again, only months later, their third EP appropriately named Sing Loud is set for release on November 6th. With immediate plans to tour excessively and begin their first full-length album in early 2013, Coming Clean’s relentless momentum can’t slow down.
