EDM duo "Synchronice" are giving away their new Remix EP "Just Because" on their newly launched website, http://www.synchronice.net. The EP features remixes of tracks by t.A.T.u., Karmin, Faith No More, Kelly Clarkson, .Fun, & Taylor Swift covering a wide variety of genres from progressive house and dubstep to drum & bass. Century Media Records is pleased to announce the signing of reformed Chicago death metallers BROKEN HOPE.

Jeremy Wagner, BH’s founder and chief lyricist/songwriter, comments, “For years, I wanted to write a new BROKEN HOPE album and see BH firmly placed with a new home. My dream came true as BROKEN HOPE just signed a worldwide deal with Century Media. I’ve harbored great appreciation for CM and its stellar roster of artists since ‘88, and I’m extremely happy and grateful to see BROKEN HOPE become part of the CM family. My sincere thanks to Robert Kampf and Maurizio Iacono for embracing our musical art. Watch for a new, sick and über-ferocious BROKEN HOPE album to hit the globe in 2013!”

Bassist Shaun Glass adds, “After taking part of an amazing North American tour that saw the rebirth of BROKEN HOPE, we are excited to be part of the mighty Century Media family. We promise to unleash one brutal and classic BH album next year!”

BROKEN HOPE was formed in 1988 by Wagner, while he was in high school. Shortly after formation, they recorded two demo tapes and signed with indie label, Grind-Core Records. Then in 1991, they released their debut album, Swamped In Gore, launching the band out of the underground and into the mainstream. From there, the band signed to Metal Blade Records and released three more albums, all stellar examples of BROKEN HOPE’s fury, which etched their place in death-metal history.

After BROKEN HOPE’s last album (1999’s Grotesque Blessings) and world tours, Wagner cleaned house and put BROKEN HOPE into “metal hibernation” in 2000. On January 20, 2010, original BROKEN HOPE vocalist Joe Ptacek tragically committed suicide. He was only 37 years old. Before his death, Ptacek met with Wagner and Glass and discussed the resurrection of BROKEN HOPE. With Ptacek’s death, Wagner and Glass took time off to reconsider their next moves.

In 2012, BROKEN HOPE signed with Hard Impact Management and vowed to make BROKEN HOPE a full-time monster— forever. Wagner and Glass recruited longtime friend and GORGASM vocalist, Damian Leski, as their new vocalist, and shortly after marked their return on the highly successful Carnival of Death tour. BROKEN HOPE’s high-intensity COD concerts received top-praise, and confirmed BROKEN HOPE was back, and more rabid than ever. BROKEN HOPE is currently booked for the 2013 editions of Extremefest (Germany) and Maryland Death Fest.

BROKEN HOPE’s first decade was filled with non-stop writing, touring, and constant visibility. The next chapter in their career will be much the same.

Man Overboard have always been known for releasing an uncanny amount of material. They released four LP’s worth of songs between 2010 and 2011; Before We Met: A Collection of Old Songs (2010), their debut LP, Real Talk (2010), Human Highlight Reel: EP’s, B-Sides and Rarities (2011) and lastly, their Self-Titled debut on Rise Records in late 2011… a total of over 50 songs.

Starting with the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour with New Found Gory in late 2011 the band has consistently been on the road, be it headlining in USA, UK or Russia, taking part in the 2012 Vans Warped Tour or various other tours. The band is currently hard at work writing songs for their next Rise Records release.

Until then, Man Overboard and Lost Tape Collective have released a free two song EP of covers recorded by vocalist, Zac Eisenstein in his home this fall. The EP features songs originally by Crush and Soul Asylum and can be downloaded here. Additionally, Lost Tape Collective will re-release Before We Met in the coming months.
