Young And In The Way Get Kvlt, Shuts Down Venue

At a recent show at the Lexington Avenue Brewery in Asheville, NC last Sunday, Young And In The Way managed to temporarily shut down the venue after the band sprayed real pig's blood during their set. The venue, which also serves as a restaurant and brewery, shut down the room in which the performance took place and contacted the Buncombe County Health Department for guidance on the situation. According to WLOS ABC, the agency declared that it was not a health issue to the restaurant, as it was not near the kitchen when it happened. According to Lambgoat, a third party was contacted to clean up the mess but found that it was a much bigger deal than originally thought. As the third party states in the article, "There was so much [blood], that we might have to rip out out the stage. It's a very dire situation." The band is not pleased with the reception they've been getting over the event and is set to release a press statement regarding the situation rather soon.
