Watch Queens Of The Stone Age’s Troy Van Leeuwen And Failure’s Kellii Scott Take Part In Signal’s “Cardboard Sessions”

Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens Of The Stone Age, ex-Failure) and Kellii Scott (Failure) recently reunited for a Signal “Cardboard Session.” You can check out that performance below. Further information was shared about the session:

“Troy Van Leeuwen, guitarist for Queens of the Stone Age and former member of Failure, picked up the Cardboard Hollow Body Jazz acoustic and started riffing, all style and feel. Just warming up, getting a sense of the guitar. Then Kellii rolls in, sits behind the kit.The two hadn’t played together in years. But the second they locked in, you could feel it. Something familiar snapped back to life. You could feel the room shift. This is the magic of a two-piece, space. Every note counts. Every hit lands harder. This Cardboard Session lands somewhere between the desert drive of Queens and the deep atmospheric pulse of Failure, two bands we’ve loved for a very long time. This one’s raw, loud, and alive. Press play and let it rip.”
