Vocalist Anthony DiDio had the following to say about the effort, which will feature the following guests: Geoff Rickly (Thursday), Jeff Smith (Jeromes Dream), and Bones:

“With this album, the vibe was to go back to the origin point of Vein and put it on blast. But it’s not a nostalgia trip. We’re just taking that part of the band to its fullest potential.”

He also added:

“I was coming from a very anti-social mentality. I want people to completely disconnect and have their own personal journey through this album.”
