For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to (insert band/artist name here)? How long has the band been around?
David was the vocalist for a band called False Devotion. For the rest of us this is our first band. We first formed as Together In Tragedy around August 2016.
What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?
We were throwing around different words and phrases for name ideas and this one just stuck out to us more than any others. No we have not.
Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?
All of the band members take part in the writing process. Aaron and Alex are the main writing force with Michael and David adding their flavour and style. This new lot of songs focuses on society through a nihilistic stand point blended with the declining mindset of an individual and how that person views themselves, their life choices and their outlook on the world around them.
They will change as we experience life further and reflect back on certain things.
What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?
Sworn In, Northlane, Darke Complex, Graves and Dealer are some of that bands that have inspired our music recently.
Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?
