Even though they started up in different bands, everyone knew each other from the very beginning. They come from the same area in Sweden, and their paths crossed on concerts, parties and much more.
Please list all of your band members and their roles in the band.

For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to SHOUT? How long has the band been around?
SHOUT is a recently started band, we have only released one single with a musik video, but our debut album is coming this fall. And both are titled PEOPLE OF THE NIGHT. Me (Kriss) and Danny played with The Scams for over ten years, Rob did the same with his band Danger, and both rob and Ol´Hurricane played with me and Danny in The Scams right before we formed SHOUT.
What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?
No we haven’t changed it…..yet ;) It kind of just came to us, we wanted something that reflected the music and was strait to the point, and thats what you wanna do when you listen to heavy metal! SHOUT - thats what its all about!
Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?
For this first album I wrote all the songs since it was a project I started before I new it would become SHOUT, but in the future all of us will be involved in the song writing. Well I think we mostly write about the rock and roll lifestyle itself, the usual stuff like fast cars, girls, rock n roll but also the freedom this lifestyle gives you, and the bond the music gives us and unites all headbangers out there! And we might try some new thing but mostly keep it under that umbrella.
What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?
We have influences both from heavy metal, rock n roll and punk rock. It is bands like AC/DC, Judas Priest, W.A.S.P. KISS, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Turbonegro, Rose Tattoo, Ramones, Misfits, Danzig To mention a few.
Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?
Id say Iron maiden because they were the first heavy metal band I started listening to and the first band I saw live.
What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …
No not really, just trying to relax and just get focused the last hour before the show and just go though some details perhaps.
What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?
Well we haven’t released our debut album yet and have only played one gig so far, it was at BULLETs release party for there new album "Dust to gold” so that was fun! We had a blast! And the biggest highlight so far! But we are looking forward to hitting the road again when we get the ball rolling after our debut album release.
If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?
Too tour with bands like Iron maiden or Judas priest would of course be awesome since they were your childhood heros growing up, but I have always been a big Turbonegro fan and love their attitude and smart lyrics, so I guess a tour with all of them would be the ultimate one? A bit strange combination perhaps but sure fun! Haha!
