DISCOΛERIES is a 5 piece outfit from Raleigh, North Carolina. The band completely defies having a specific genre by simply delivering consistent and relentlessly heavy songs. While using all different combinations of the vast sub-genres of Metal, their songs will leave you barely standing.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?
The origin of the name came from our experiences in the industry and the discoveries we have made along the way to improve ourselves over the years. The band name has not been changed since its establishment.
Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?
The songwriting process is a collective effort between all of us which usually starts as an improvised bit from practice sessions. Instrumentally, we don’t write a song with a theme or topic in mind, that usually flourishes more once the instruments have been solidified and work begins on the vocal layout/structure. Our material historically has had a wide range of topics, going from mental instability to world corruption.
What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?
Alpha Wolf, Body Snatcher, Like Moths To Flames, Spite, Slaughter To Prevail, Lorna Shore, Beartooth, Strangled, Aversions Crown, The Acacia Strain
Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?
When we started playing in bands (some over a decade ago), acts such as As I Lay Dying, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage (and so many more) were at the forefront of the metal scene. They all shaped the evolution of our members from the beginning days.
What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …
We don’t have a solidified warm up before performing on stage. We usually take the time to hang out with mutual friends and meet new people and enjoy the rest of the acts at the show.
What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?
The biggest highlight was getting to play with artists that have inspired us to create music ourselves.
f you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?
Oh man, there are a lot. Enterprise Earth, Veil Of Maya, and Gideon just to name a few. All of these acts are strong influences for of members.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
