In early February, Jon Stewart announced he was leaving The Daily Show. After much speculation, Comedy Central has finally confirmed Trevor Noah is to replace him as host.
Noah, a South African comic, appeared a few times on the show as a guest commentator. In the official press release, Jon stated: “I’m thrilled for the show and for Trevor. He’s a tremendous comic and talent that we’ve loved working with…In fact, I may rejoin as a correspondent just to be a part of it!!!” (Comedy Central)
