We really feel that our debut EP release in 2020 was just a taste of what our sound was. We recorded that super early on during the band's inception. Master & Machine really shows how we have matured as musicians, and have come into our own as artists. This album evokes all sorts of emotions for us, but also wants it to represent the impact we are looking to make in this genre. We don’t conform to any particular sound or vibe, rather share our collective personalities and styles in every track.
The album name, Master & Machine, is really a conglomeration of how everything we do is impacted by someone else. Societally, personally, professionally, artistically, etc.. Someone/ or something is always pulling the strings. We make every effort as members of society to look out for others, to support communities, and make an impact however we can, always to be bogged down by greed, corruption, misogyny, and basically a societal imbalance in the way we operate.
The flow of the album starts with a bright outlook and heads into an area of discomfort and doubt spitting the listener out with a sense of togetherness and bliss. This has been a long process between writing, performing, perfecting, tracking, mixing and mastering, but has been worth the wait. With this being our debut full length album, we pulled out all the stops on this one and put everything we have into this.
