If you're one of the millions still using Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, Amazon Instant Video, etc, it's time to make a change for the better.
What is XBMC (now known as Kodi)? Glad you asked.
Kodi (formally known as XBMC) is an award-winning free and open source (GPL) software media player and entertainment hub that can be installed on Linux, OSX, Windows, iOS, and Android, featuring a 10-foot user interface for use with televisions and remote controls. It allows users to play and view most videos, music, podcasts, and other digital media files from local and network storage media and the internet
Basically, the tl;dr of that is, you can watch pretty much anything you want if you have an internet connection. My favorite feature would have to be live-streaming PPV events and TV shows in general. Netflix only has certain seasons of shows available until there taken down in a few months. There may be "exclusives" on Netflix like House of Cards and Orange Is The New Black but you can watch them here as well. Hulu has more content at the expense of annoying ads. The movie selection on Kodi is great too, depending on what addons you get. I won't be explaining how to install it because there are other sites who explain it better than I can. I will, however suggest the following addons; 1channel, IceFilms, SportsDevil, and 1-link movies. Check out the video below on how to get started.
