This Day In Music History: September 15th

On this day, September 15th, in 1998 musician Marilyn Manson released his third studio album Mechanical Animals via Interscope Records. Mechanical Animals would go on to certify platinum in the US and create such singles as “Rock is Dead”, “The Dope Show” and “Coma White”. Being that the record is a concept album, it was critiqued with a heavy hand, but still proved to be successful. Listen to the album below
