On this day, March 5th, in 1969 the very first CREEM magazine was published. Claiming to be America's Only Rock 'n' Roll Magazine, the magazine had many well know music figures such as Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Mick Jagger, KISS, and even David Bowie. Sadly, the publication did come to an end in 1989.
