This Day In Music History: June 6th

On this day in 2003 the officials at Six Flags Darien Lake banned Marilyn Manson from performing on the Ozzfest date going through the venue that upcoming August. "Contractual agreement gives us the right to restrict artists from performing in our concert venue," officials said in a statement. "We decided to pass on the Marilyn Manson performance." The amusement park invoked a contract clause that allows them to restrict artists from performing. A little hasty don't you think?
