This Day In Music History: July 5th

On this day in 1988 legendary metal band, Slayer, released their album South Of Heaven with Def Jam Records. South Of Heaven went certified gold in both the United States and Canada and featured hits like "Mandatory Suicide" and the title track "South Of Heaven".
