On this day, July 25th, in 1980, Australian rock band AC/DC released their seventh studio album “Back In Black” via Atlantic Records. Back In Black was the first album with their new vocalist Brian Johnson, their former vocalist Bon Scott had passed away after a night of heavy alcohol consumption. Though upon it’s initial release fans and critics were hesitating, the album turned out to be a great success, selling an estimated 50 million copies. Black In Black had popular singles such as “Hells Bells”, “Shoot to Thrill”, and “You Shook Me All Night Long”.
