This Day In Music History: July 18th

On this day, July 18th, in 1988 American rock band The Beach Boys released single Kokomo via Elektra Capitol Records.Upon release the track would chart at number one in multiple countries. The track would also become part of the soundtrack on Donaldson’s film ‘Cocktail’. The b-side to this release was Little Richard's ‘Tutti Frutti’.
