This Day In Music History: December 12th

On this day, December 12th, in 1970 American rock band The Doors played what would be their last ever live show with vocalist Jim Morrison at the Warehouse in New Orleans. Morrison would pass away in July of 1971 with the cause of death listed as heart failure. The Doors would continue on with Krieger and Manzarek taking over vocals and would truck on before disbanding in 1973.
