This Day In Music History: August 30th

On this day, August 30, in 1994 American singer Usher released his debut self titled studio album via LaFace Records. Debuting at number 167 on the Billboard 200 the album had hit singles such as “Think of You”, “Smile Again”, and “Love Was Here”. The album would pave the way for Usher’s career and be a stepping stone for this type of sound. Listen to the album below!
