This Day In Music History: August 22nd

August 22nd, 2006. The Devil Wears Prada released their Rise Records debut, Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord. It included re-recorded versions of all the tracks from their demo, Patterns of a Horizon, and two original tracks, "Texas is South" and "Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over". It was also the first record Joey Sturgis worked on.
