This Day In Music History: April 6th

On this day, April 6th, in 1998 lead singer of punk band The Plasmatics Wendy O. Williams passed away from a self inflicted gun shot. After leaving home and taken a series of odd jobs, Williams was recruited in a new punk band The Plasmatics, where they would later gain fame in the New York underground scene. Other then the mark she left in the music scene, Williams was known for her no nonsense attitude and conversational/radical actives she chose to participate in.
