This Day In Music History: April 26th

April 26th 1994, Outkast released their debut LP, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik which opened up a new door for southern hip-hop. Outkast combined hip-hop, gospel, and funk to achieve their one of a kind sound. The album speaks about pimps, gangs, and racial discrimination in the south.
