This Day In Music History: November 2nd

On this day, November 2nd, in 1978 The Police released their debut album Outlandos d’Amour via A&M Records. Containing their hit single ‘Roxanne’, their debut album debut and peaked high on the charts. The album would certify platinum by the RIAA and spawned two additional hits “So Lonely” and “Can’t Stand Losing You”
