The Story Behind Bring Me The Horizon's 'Mantra'

In an interview with Louder, Oli Sykes explains how Wild Wild Country influenced the writing of Mantra.

“Mantra started off when I was watching this documentary called Wild Wild Country.” I was watching all these people devoted to this one guy, doing this crazy shit for him. As I was watching it and trying to write lyrics at the same time, I was drawing these similarities to cults and love.”

You have to see to be a believer. A Netflix Original documentary series about a controversial cult leader who builds a utopian city in the Oregon desert, resulting in conflict with the locals that escalates into a national scandal. Now Streaming.
