The Origin of Slipknot's "742617000027"

Slipknot loved using samples for their first two albums. The one in particular we're looking at today is the audio sample from "742617000027" off their self-titled debut. "742617000027" was the shipping code on their 1996 self-released demo, Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat. All the band members wore that number on their jumpsuits while touring in the early years. The quote, "The whole thing I think it’s sick", is from a Charles Manson documentary which can be seen below.
