The July Crowd Release New EP, The Way That I Felt Last Year

Fans of Knuckle Puck, Hot Mulligan and Real Friends will be compelled by The July Crowd's soundscape on The Way That I Felt Last Year, a collection that innately takes the listener back to the 2010's, whilst bottling a fresh and progressive take on modern alternative. The band have graduated from the infectious pop punk anthems of their previous cycles to a sound rich in heart and sonically resonating; a heart-on-sleeve, emo-laced 5-track with urgency and melody duelling deftly.

“This new EP is a reflection of some of the hardest times I’ve ever experienced in my life. Loss, grief, and learning how to cope are all present and very trying themes. Truthfully though, it feels great to write about real experiences. I hope to connect with people in a meaningful way through this record. We made this EP for people working through real human emotions.”
