Tim Lambesis Sentenced to Six Years

Radio.com is reporting that Tim Lambesis, singer for As I Lay Dying was sentenced today to six years in prison in a San Diego Superior Courtroom for attempting to hire a hit man to kill his wife.  The sound of truth didn't come out and Tim will ultimately be confined for six years. He'll spend the darkest nights condemned in his cell, forever going through struggle

The verdict was handed down as the singer’s ex-bandmates Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso and Josh Gilbert looked on. Spilling into the section typically reserved for the defense, many of Meggan’s more than three dozen supporters adorned small yellow felt hearts pinned to their shirts to make their sentiments known. With more than 80 spectators packing the gallery, defense attorney Tom Warwick told the judge that he had a lot of people who support Tim and he wanted “some kind of parity” with the seating in the room.

The side project originally started as a joke band, which is odd to think cause they're better than most "serious" bands. After raising funds on Indiegogo and a life-changing controversy later (Google it), Triple Brutal is finally seeing the light of day!
