Last year, Mo'Ne Davis wowed the sports world by being the first girl to win a game and pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series. The Philadelphia native was also the first African-American girl to play. Davis appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated, making her the first ever Little League player to grace it.
