E3 2014: Sony Conference Highlights

Capping off a long day of conferences and reveals, it was now Sony's turn to show off the big guns. Sony had quite a successful year following the announcement of the PS4, leading in next-gen system sales and becoming the top dog of the Big Three. During their two hour event, the company showed not only what's in store for the Playstation brand but why you should be excited for the future.

E3 2014: EA and Ubisoft Conference Highlights

EA Games is one of the largest third-party developers in the world, home to some of the biggest franchises in gaming such as Madden, Battlefield, FIFA, and Mass Effect. This year, EA took quite a different direction than E3's of years past, which were full of big games and bigger announcements.

E3 2014: Microsoft Conference Highlights

Let's not mince words here, last year's Microsoft conference left much to be desired. With an emphasis more on the Kinect, sports, and the Xbox One's less than desirable features rather than games, the company was significantly overshadowed by Sony and the PS4. After scaling back on the Xbox One's negatives and showing a renewed interest in reclaiming lost ground, Microsoft came to E3 this year determined to make up for last year's faux pas. In the 90 minutes Microsoft, they not only accomplished this goal but exceeded expectations as well.
