Suicide Squad Trailer Stuns

After footage from Saturday's Comic-Con presentation leaked, David Ayer just released the preview footage from his film, Suicide Squad. In less than twelve hours the trailer is quickly approaching 6.5 million views.  Ayer is known for gritty and dark films like Fury and Training Day, and appears to have maintained his signature dark aesthetic for Suicide Squad.  The trailer stuns with Jared Leto's Joker's chilling proclamation, "Oh, I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonna hurt you really, really badly."

Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5, 2016, with an all star cast including Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and Ben Affleck as Batman, a role he'll reprise from Batman V Superman to be released in March 2016.   Warner Bros. hopes that the success of Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad will rival the success of Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
