Los Angeles based lady duo Staircase Spirits packs the sweet-yet-subtle emotional punch you've been looking for. With a name derived off of a French term for when a person thinks of the right thing to say but when it is much too late to say it, you can always expect depth when it comes to Staircase Spirits.
Last Friday the ladies released their EP, Love Stories and "California Winter" is the second single that was released from that EP. The song focuses on the highs that are associated with spending time with someone you genuinely have romantic feelings for, even if you know that the feeling you're having is fleeting.
