Band Camp will be the first major music festival in Elko, Nevada on August 7th and 8th in the Elko City Park. As part of their Summer of Music series consisting of a Battle of the Bands, A Summer Under the Stars concert and culminating with a 2 day music festival, Band Camp. Activities this year include a crowd games (such as crowd twister, crowd musical chairs) and prizes, vendors in the park, inflatables and games for kids, Apple Pie eating contest, and a 1.5 day multi-genre music festival highlighting bands from across the country with emphasis on those performing original music.
